House Rules
Tenants
must agree to abide by the following house rules, rules stated in
the Rental Agreement, any rules posted at the property and common
sense:
- SMOKING
IS NOT ALLOWED inside the house.
- Check
in is after 4 PM on the arrival date. Early check in is not possible.
Check out on the date of departure is by 10 AM, without exception.
- Occupancy
is restricted to a maximum 10 guests.
- Occupancy
and use of the premises and grounds in such a fashion that disturbs
or offends neighbors is prohibited. Please respect the neighbors
by being quiet after 10 PM.
- Rearranging
of furniture is not permitted.
- All
doors and windows should be closed and locked when property is unoccupied.
- All
trash should be deposited in designated receptacles.
- Grilling
is permitted only on gravel areas. Absolutely no grilling is allowed
on deck, under deck, under eaves, near wooded areas, or anywhere
that may pose the risk of fire.
- Use
of fireworks is prohibited.
- NO
DIVING or jumping off pier, as there are dangerous submerged rocks.
- Bath
towels may not be taken outside. Please use your own beach towels.
- Use
of laundry is permitted, but please provide your own detergent and
supplies.
- Please
provide your own paper products and personal toiletries.
- Please
respect the lake rule of no water skiing after 8 PM.
- Please
enjoy the fire ring with care. Do not collect fire wood on the property.
PLEASE MAKE SURE FIRES ARE ALWAYS ATTENDED AND DOUSE COMPLETELY
WITH WATER TO EXTINGUISH.
- Dogs
and other pets are not permitted on the property unless approved
in advance. If allowed, the following rules apply:
• No pet may be left on the premises unless a responsible
adult is also present.
• Outside the premises, all pets must be on a leash, but no
pet shall be tied outside the unit unless supervised by a responsible
adult.
• Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
• Pets are not allowed to disturb the neighbors in any way,
including by barking or visiting.
• Pets must be walked as far from house as possible and all
droppings must be picked up and properly disposed of.
• You are fully responsible for your pet’s actions and
all costs and expenses whatsoever due to damage or disruption caused
by your pet(s) are your responsibility.
- Wastewater
and sewage are disposed in an on-site septic system, which can be
sensitive to certain substances. Guests are asked to minimize solids
introduced into this system through drains and toilets. Please do
not flush or drain any of the following substances:
• Fats or grease of any kind (minimize food waste in general)
• Coffee grounds
• Facial quality tissues (toilet paper is okay)
• Sanitary napkins or tampons
• Disposable diapers
• Chemical drain cleaners (such as Drano, etc.)
• Minimize use of chemical cleaners
